What is the Academy?

Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe (SYAE) was established in May 2004. Its mandate is to propagate, preserve and uphold the integrity of the teachings of Satyananda Yoga® and to implement structures and systems for the ongoing development, training and teaching of Satyananda Yoga® in Europe.

The Academy’s current administrative and educational team comprises dedicated people from 14 different countries. At present, SYAE’s primary focus is on the development and delivery of Yogic Studies Courses.

At a global level, Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe is one of a group of regional Academies sharing the same mandate. Affiliation to any Academy is recognised by the other regions.
